Examples of inflation and expansion in every sport. A detailed discussion follows, addressing the issue as to whether or not sport is business. Several topics are covered that support the view of the speaker that "Sport is Big Business and Hockey is a Sport," including issues of monopoly, the establishment and demands of player's associations, court rulings, the disparate concerns of management and players, player's rights. A further discussion of international hockey, and Canada's place in it, especially with regard to some controversial events involving the Russian team.
