Looking to the United States for great advantages to flow from the ratification and adoption of the Treaty which has been signed on two occasions by two Secretaries of State for the United States. Nothing in the Reciprocity Treaty between Newfoundland and the U.S. which in any way affects Canada or any portion of the British Empire. The speaker's belief in the policy of Mr. Chamberlain as far as it has been outlined in its effects on Canada.
